Inclusion
No clinical benefit demonstrated when compared with iron-containing medicinal products already available
- Several medicinal products containing iron, in various forms and in various dosages, are already available for the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia or the treatment of iron deficiency in pregnant women.
- A new form (INOFER sachets) is now available in these indications, as well as a new dosage of TARDYFERON (50 mg) for the prevention of iron deficiency in pregnant women only.
- They should not be used systematically during pregnancy but limited to women suffering from iron deficiency anaemia or at risk of being iron deficient.
